Public Presentations

The kids recently gave their 4-h public presentations. It was their first ones and Jason and I were so proud of them! They both got blue ribbons and rave reviews from their judges.

Here is Dylan anxiously awaiting his turn!

And Grayse awaiting her turn!

Look at the face!

So proud!!

Teaching the Art of Bike Riding and Rabbit Holding

Grayse and Dylan have been teaching Dempsey how to ride his 2 wheeler bike. He has been doing awsome and now keeps up with them on his own! I don't think my kids learned quite this quickly! He's amazing!

They have also been teaching him the art of rabbit holding. I love these photo's, they are priceless!!

That's what we have been up to lately!

Living with the Cousins

One of the best parts of living here is the time we get to spend with my brother and his wife and kids. They are so dear to us and we love them so much. We get to have the cousins over alot and it's been fun to watch them go from cousins to more like siblings.

The other day Pierce stayed with us for a bit and he hung out while the kids did their homework.

Him and Dylan found some fun games online.

Dempsey came by this morning right as we set up the Wii. They all decided to play a game of Super Mario! Aren't they darling?

Have a great day!

Baby Cook #3

I had my first ultrasound yesterday. Things are so much clearer than when I had Dylan and Grayse. I found out I was only 8 weeks and 3 days instead of 10 weeks. But just look how formed this little child is becoming already? I am so amazed!

Look how the little arms and legs are there. And the beautiful little head. We even saw the heart beating!

                                                                 Have a great day all!

An update on our new life!!

So, as most of you know, we recently moved from our farm to an RV in my brother's back yard. What an adjustment it's been. I'm so glad the first week is under our belts. I can't help but feel it's all down hill from here!

Here are a few pictures of what was happening around here today. It was sunny and beautiful for the second time since we moved here!

We had to dig a power ditch across Chris and Dani's driveway to get to our trailer.

Pierce enjoyed helping out Uncle Jay.

The kids had a ball helping out and playing alot!

They are all so sweet to each other and get along so well.

This is Sam, one of Chris and Dani's 2 dogs. He is such a nice dog and is rarely without his soccer ball. He loves the kids, too! Last week Grayse kind of ran him over with the Gator and we thought he broke his leg. He is strting to use it now, though, so we are hoping he will make a full recovery!

Isn't he cute? He is so photogenic!

I leave you with this sweet photo of Dylan and his beloved Chloe.
Check back soon for more "Life in Duvall" updates!

Dog Bones

Dozer and Chloe both got huge bones from Nana this Christmas. It's so funny to see what they do with them. It's not the normal "lay down and chew on it for hours" that you would expect!

Dozer carries his around while he's chasing the kids on their snowmobiles. He also just lays there with it guarding it form Chloe!

Chloe, on the other hand, buries her bones. She sneaks and lurks around for a long time and when she thinks no one is looking she buries it!

I have seen her re-dig it up a couple of times and re-locate the prized bone.
Needless to say, she has since stole Dozers bone and buried it as well!

Have a wonderful New Years!

Grayse and 4-H

Grayse recently started dog and horse 4-H. She has absoutely loved it! We took her new horse, Rosey, to a 4-H ride last night and she did great! What a nice little horse she's been so far.
Grayse just loves these rides every sunday afternoon and they've turned out to be a regular family affair!

One of the best parts of 4-H are all the nice friends Grayse has made. It does my heart good to see her walking and chatting with the girls.
